Signs You Need Replacement
- Loss of Tension / Sagging: The microphone starts to droop, or the body of the mic touches the hard plastic/metal ring of the outer basket.
Replacement Interval: For regular studio use, elastic suspension bands typically need replacement every 1 to 2 years(or sooner if exposed to direct sunlight, high heat, or heavy daily handling)
Permanent Deformation: The bands stay stretched out even when the microphone is removed
